Salsa Mundial started as a conversation between an American, an Indian, a Japanese and a Puerto Rican over a few beers. We wanted to create a place that welcomed people from all ages and backgrounds to learn Latin dance in a learning environment that wasn’t profit driven.
Mundial, which means “World” in Spanish, perfectly matched the global atmosphere and environment that we wished to create. And so with that name, we opened the studio in October 2015.
Our goal today – as it was during that first conversation – is to create and maintain a warm and loving salsa community. All our instructors are experienced and trained to be great teachers. While we strive to create a welcoming family atmosphere, we are also committed to professional teaching.
