Growing up on the beach in Florida means sand, sun, surf and music. I spent years loving Latin music but never took the time to enjoy the culture. Music has always been a big part of my life. I learned to play many instruments as a teenager and have been lucky to preform in many different groups over the past 30 years.

 

My dance adventure started with my wife when she enrolled us in a class before our wedding. We both loved the experience and agreed that when we had more time we would take more classes. Fast forward to age 50 when we went to see a Latin musician friend who was preforming an outdoor concert. In the crowd that night was a group of several dancers from Salsa Mundial. We watched them and after music ended we meet Koji and started lessons.

 

Six years of classes ,three performance teams and many hours of free time studying fundamentals, it’s time to share what I have learned. Teaching allows me to give back what has been given to me.
