Salsa & Bachata Instructor
Nathan began dancing in 2010 after taking an introductory ballroom class while attending the University of Georgia. Inspired by the experience, he joined UGA’s ballroom performance group as well as the Argentine Tango Club. After graduating, he continued dancing at DANCEFX in Athens, Georgia, as a member of CONTACT Dance Company, which blended traditional ballroom styles with elements of theater arts, and REVOLUTION Salsa Company.
After earning his PhD in Agricultural Economics from Colorado State University, Nathan moved to Gainesville in 2022 to join UF’s Food and Resource Economics Department. He became a member of the Salsa Mundial team as a salsa and bachata instructor in 2025.
Nathan is excited for the opportunity to continue pursuing his passion for dance and to be part of Gainesville’s amazing Latin dance community. He values the connection, energy, and sense of community that dancing creates and is thrilled to share that joy with others through teaching.
