Salsa & Bachata Instructor
Hi, I’m Raven! I began dancing at the studio 5 years ago when I moved here for my PhD. I have been on Salsa Mundial’s teaching team for 3 years. Though I thought I would be finished with my PhD and moved from Gainesville by now, my time in this studio is evidence that the waiting has been orchestrated by God. What an unexpected gift it has been to meet all of you, to be part of this incredible community, all while being able to grow as a dancer and teacher.
I find that creativity and humor are two of my greatest strengths on the dance floor. My salsa philosophy is to dance WITH your partner, leave space for each other, and enjoy even the mistakes because they can make for learning and a good laugh. Having the opportunity to teach many different types of learners has been one of my favorite parts of this journey. I look forward to meeting you and improving our dancing together!
